The architectural concept of this 1,400 m² residence is seamlessly integrated into the natural setting of a picturesque oak grove visible from the northern side of the plot. The Whispering Oaks project has become an example of barrier-free architecture, where nature is not just a backdrop but an active part of everyday life.
The story of this home began long before the first sketch was drawn. The clients — a married couple — had followed our work for many years before finally approaching us to create their dream home. They were not looking for a specific reference, but for the distinctive architectural style of Studia 54. Through an open and thoughtful dialogue, we were able to consider every wish and create a space where comfort meets expressive architecture.
Our goal was to build a mindful and respectful dialogue with nature, preserving the character of the place while enhancing it through architectural solutions. Carefully designed view points for relaxation, a patio, spa area, swimming pool, and winter garden were introduced — each element emphasizing the uniqueness of the landscape and making it part of the home’s lifestyle scenario.

Architectural Concept
The house features a wide, elongated silhouette that transforms the image of a “house in the woods” into a luxurious residence set within an oak grove. The second floor forms a striking volume, creating the impression of a castle that unexpectedly emerges among the trees.
It was important for the clients to emphasize a sense of grandeur in both the facade and the entrance group. A natural stone sculpture became the focal point, setting the tone for the entire space — an idea that continues inside the house.
Even the technical areas are integrated into the architectural composition. A glass garage becomes part of the home’s aesthetic language, while guest parking is elegantly concealed within the sculptural plasticity of the façade.
One of the key elements shaping the unique Studia 54 style is the use of natural materials. The project features thermo-treated ash on the façades and soffits, natural stone, and stone-textured porcelain panels in ribbed decorative forms. All materials were selected with durability and climate resistance in mind, while preserving the expressiveness of their textures.

Patio — A Space for Relaxation
Special attention was given to the patio — a multifunctional leisure area that unites the barbecue zone, swimming pool, and a smooth transition to the summer kitchen. It was conceived as the heart of family evenings and gatherings with friends.
The canopy is inspired by one of Studia 54’s earlier projects, where architecture and landscape also formed a unified composition. Beneath it, there is a sunbathing area and a shaded lounge space, allowing residents to enjoy both sunlight and a sense of shelter.
The swimming pool is equipped with a modern counter-current system, enabling the owner to comfortably practice his favorite sport — swimming.

As the clients are not only a couple but also happy grandparents, the site includes a children’s playground and a fire pit area designed for warm family evenings overlooking the oak forest.

Planning Solution
The layout of the residence was developed according to the family’s lifestyle scenarios and specific wishes. We carefully balanced ceremonial and private zones, organizing circulation routes so that the movement of staff and homeowners does not intersect.
First Floor
The first level includes spacious living areas, a lounge zone, dining room, spa block, gym, guest rooms, and staff quarters. Open spaces, terraces, and verandas overlook the most picturesque parts of the site, reinforcing the feeling of unity with nature.
A key feature of the first floor is the winter garden, created at the personal request of the client. It unites the living room, kitchen, and lounge area into one grand space. A garden inside the home is a technically complex yet unique design solution that continues the dialogue with nature. It undoubtedly becomes the center of attraction for both family and guests.

Second Floor
The second floor accommodates the private owners’ block: the master bedroom, bedrooms for family members and close friends, as well as the head of the family’s office.
Panoramic windows offer views of the swimming pool, patio, and oak grove. Each morning is filled with the scent of the forest, and evenings bring a sense of privacy and harmony.

Landscape
In designing the exterior, special attention was given to preserving the natural landscape. Dedicated planning schemes were developed to retain as many trees as possible and minimize intervention in the existing flora and fauna. Decorative elements such as relief stones and illuminated walking paths are seamlessly integrated into the surroundings.
We build homes in the signature Studia 54 style, using our proprietary structural and architectural solutions, including natural materials and color palettes that harmonize with the environment.
It is especially meaningful to us when clients come specifically for this architectural language, trusting us with the realization of their dream. We are truly grateful that our projects resonate deeply and become part of stories that continue to unfold within the spaces we create.
