We developed the interior design for a 940 m² (10,118 ft²) private residence for a married couple who had long dreamed of a home with panoramic views and a truly exclusive aesthetic. Many of their friends are public figures and high-profile individuals, so it was essential for the residence to leave a lasting impression on every guest.
Exclusively for this project, we created more than 25 art objects, including lighting installations, sculptures, and decorative wall panels, along with custom-designed furniture pieces that exist as one-of-a-kind works. A dedicated team of 70 Studia 54 specialists worked on the project over several months.
The clients were deeply involved in the creative process and genuinely enjoyed it. Together, we explored multiple concepts, experimented with color palettes, and refined accent details. Today, we are ready to share this beautiful story.
Living room
Dark interiors expand the perceived boundaries of space and, in the hands of an experienced team, become light, refined, and inspiring.
The foundation of the color palette is graphite and its nuanced shades, complemented by accents of blue and burgundy — the latter set to become a defining trend of 2026.
The client envisioned a living room adaptable to different life scenarios: intimate family evenings, formal dinners with distinguished guests, and ceremonial gatherings. We carefully translated these expectations into a space that fully reflects the signature style of Studia 54.

The focal point of the living room is a sculptural bio fireplace. It is crafted from deep black porcelain stoneware with veining that echoes the texture of onyx. The flame, protected by tempered smoked glass, creates a mesmerizing play of light, filling the space with warmth and subtle movement. To the right of the fireplace, a bespoke art object designed according to our sketches serves as a refined artistic accent.
The furniture selection features leading premium brands: a sofa by DOM Edizioni, a coffee table by Cattelan Italia, a side table by Minotti, an armchair by Giorgio Collection, and a bench by FiftyFourms.

In the living room, there is a bespoke lighting installation composed of several hundred decorative pendants, created exclusively for this project based on our original sketches. Crafted from translucent blue glass, the pendants resemble a frozen crystal rain, adding depth, movement, and a subtle sense of drama to the space.
For the TV area, we designed a custom wall panel using three types of veneer — light, medium, and deep dark tones. Its flowing, wave-like pattern softens the geometry of the interior, bringing a sense of calm and visual continuity. Another sculptural accent in the living room is a bespoke wall artwork made of polymer clay, also developed according to our sketches. It unifies the color palette, introduces tactile richness, and stands as an independent art object. Positioned nearby is a bench from FiftyFourms, completing the composition with understated elegance.

There are two Eichholtz lamps on the table.
Another decorative highlight of the living room is a wall panel made of polymer clay, created according to our sketches. It brings together the color palette of the space, adds texture and tactile depth, and stands on its own as an art object. A FiftyFourms bench is placed alongside it, completing the composition.

Dining area
The dining space is located in a bay window with panoramic glazing, offering guests a picturesque view. Filled with natural light, it creates a sense of openness and a quiet connection with the surrounding landscape.
The dominant feature of the dining room is a light installation made of chrome-finished glass, designed by the Studia 54 team. The interplay of black, silver, and blue tones produces a complex optical effect: depending on the time of day and the viewing angle, the composition reveals a different character.
Very soon, this space will be filled with a festive atmosphere, welcoming family gatherings and evenings spent with close friends.

Ground floor hall
The client has a deep appreciation for greenery and envisioned a natural corner within the home. At the same time, he requested a solution that would remain flawless over time, without the need for maintenance.
We proposed an alternative: an all-season winter garden installation using high-quality artificial greenery. This is how a “living” corner appeared in the residence, composed of an elegant artificial tree, lush greenery, and natural pebbles. A timeless solution that will remain fresh and vibrant for decades.
Above the tree, strands of a light installation float like raindrops suspended in the air. In the evening, they create a romantic atmosphere, reminiscent of glowing fireflies.

Owner’s home office
A private study must reflect both the status and character of its owner. For this space, we chose a refined combination of dark wood and gold accents.
The Studia 54 team designed all bespoke cabinetry for the study, including shelving units, storage cabinets, and wardrobes. The swing doors are adorned with hand-crafted milling, while the back panels of the open shelving are upholstered in leather. Integrated perimeter lighting enhances the depth of the materials, creating a subtle interplay of light and shadow.

At the center of the study stands a writing desk by Laskasas, finished in matte veneer. Above it, a geometric chandelier by Cattelan Italia completes the composition, reinforcing the space’s sense of structure, balance, and quiet authority.

Second-floor hall
This hall was conceived as a private art gallery. At our own manufactory, the team created a sculptural console made from Italian natural quartz. It exists in a single copy, designed and produced exclusively for this project.
A wall panel framed in polymer clay, finished in a deep graphite tone, was also created specifically for this space. The art object continues the narrative color palette of the interior.
The wall itself is upholstered in suede in a trendy burgundy shade, adding depth, softness, and a tactile accent to the gallery-like atmosphere.

Gym
The owners lead an active lifestyle and place great value on physical well-being. The client is a master of martial arts, while his wife enjoys staying in shape. To allow them to train together and spend quality time side by side, we designed a private gym within the residence.
The space is fully equipped with everything required for a complete training routine: a treadmill, a martial arts mat, functional equipment, and various strength machines. The gym supports cardio, strength, and functional workouts alike.
True to the Studia 54 approach, we did not leave the gym without an artistic statement. One of the walls is adorned with an expressive painting created in the sumi-e technique, reflecting the client’s deep appreciation for Eastern culture and Japan.

Bathroom
The focal point of the bathroom is a Cielo washbasin, where the cool purity of white ceramic is paired with the warm texture of natural leather. This unexpected combination creates a refined play of contrasts and highlights the project’s attention to detail.
A custom-made partition of solid frosted glass softly zones the space, preserving a sense of openness while maintaining privacy and visual balance.

We brought the clients’ vision to life by creating a 940 m² residence that leaves a lasting impression — not only on distinguished guests, but first and foremost on the owners themselves. More than 25 bespoke art objects and custom furniture pieces ensure absolute exclusivity.
This project for a family residence embodies the philosophy of Studia 54: to create deeply personalized interiors with exceptional attention to detail and one-of-a-kind design solutions that transcend function and become works of art.
