The geography of Studia 54 projects continues to expand, covering the most expressive and picturesque points on the architectural map of the world. A landmark project has become a royal residence with an area of 3,500 m² on the coast of Cape Town.
The residence is distinguished by its scale, restrained elegance and impeccable purity of forms. The project's customers are the royal family, whose philosophy of life has become a source of inspiration for the Studia 54 team.
The love of the ocean, the art of hospitality and impeccable relaxation formed the basis of the architectural image of the residence in the unique style of the studio, a space created for formal receptions and private moments near the horizon. The project was the result of the work of a team of 60 Studia 54 specialists who ensured the integrity of the idea and the accuracy of realizing the dream of customers at every stage.

Royal luxury in architecture
The architecture of the residence is based on the idea of primevalness, plasticity and purity of lines. The smooth curves of the facades contrast with the harsh rocky landscape of the coast, emphasizing the monumentality of the house and its resistance to the elements. Rounded shapes become an architectural reflection of the inner harmony and royal dignity of the customer's family.
The color scheme of the project is dictated both by the aesthetics of the southern houses of Studia 54 and the climate of the region. The residence is decorated in white, ideal for Cape Town's subtropical Mediterranean climate. The facades are decorated with snow-white ceramic panels and natural sandstone, and the scale and status of the building are emphasized by the brass roof framing, creating a noble architectural accent.
The natural context
Cape Town, known as the "Cape Town", is located at the Cape of Good Hope, a symbolic point of contact between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. It is a place with a unique history, climate and natural energy, which has become an important part of the architectural concept of the project.
The residence is located on the Atlantic Ocean coast. Crashing against the rocks, the waves seem to repeat the curves of the house, which enhances the feeling of unity between architecture and nature.
The landscape of the site is solved in a cascade technique, visually supporting and developing the architectural concept of the house.

The layout of the residence
The planning structure of the two-storey residence is designed taking into account the scenarios of family life and thoughtful zoning of the space. The right wing of the house is designed for the private lives of adults and children, while the left wing is reserved for charity and official events.
For receptions and social events, there are spacious outdoor terraces with a variety of relaxation areas: a bar area, lounge spaces with sun beds, and even a golf course integrated into one of the terraces on the second floor.
The focal area on the site has become the place where the sound of waves will be heard especially vividly. The chocolate-hued sofa group is designed for 14-15 people and is perfect for watching the sun set over the horizon with your family.

The project implements multi-level living scenarios: three living rooms, three master units, hidden technical areas, a swimming pool complex and parking for up to 15 cars provide comfort for both the family and the guests of the residence.
Architecture subordinated to landscape
The spatial composition of the residence is formed taking into account the relief of the site and the line of the ocean horizon. The architecture of the house opens towards the coast, consistently building perspectives and view axes. Extended terraces, cantilevered roof extensions and panoramic glazing work to create a sense of open space and visual freedom, while maintaining the privacy of the interior areas.
This solution made it possible to integrate the house into the natural landscape without dominating it. The architecture in the style of Studia 54 becomes part of the environment, emphasizing the scale of the coast and enhancing the impression of the place. For customers, this approach has become the basis of trust when choosing a studio for a home project.

The 3,500 m² Royal Residence in Cape Town has become an example of Studia 54's comprehensive approach to working with architecture in a complex natural context. The project was developed in the studio's corporate style and takes into account the peculiarities of the coastal relief, climate and landscape, turning the limitations of the area into architectural advantages. The residence reflects the lifestyle and character of the customer's family, combining representativeness and privacy, scale and restraint, expressive plasticity of forms and verified functionality.
