Long-term partnerships are at the core of our philosophy, and this approach has helped us earn the trust of even the most demanding clients.
When it comes to billionaires, two principles are essential. First, the interior must be unmistakably exclusive — a space that cannot be replicated. Second, absolute confidentiality is non-negotiable. Some of our most remarkable projects remain under NDA and cannot be shared publicly.
But we can unveil the key principles behind creating high-end design projects for Forbes-level clients.
Total personalisation
Exclusivity in the ultra-luxury segment is defined differently. It is not about price — it is about rarity. Most pieces in such residences cannot be purchased. They are created for a specific individual, shaped by personal habits, collections, and daily rituals.
This is why we design and manufacture the key interior elements at our own 2,000 m² production facility in Saint Petersburg. We create art objects, wall panels, and furniture based on bespoke sketches, ensuring that each piece exists in a single edition and aligns perfectly with the concept of the design project.
Sculptural art objects and complex light installations define the character of a space and consistently draw attention. They may serve as a focal point or continue the overarching design narrative.
For example, in a restaurant project in Perm, the client wanted guests to immediately feel immersed in the local context. We filled the interior with meaningful accents, bespoke art objects and installations. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by a cloakroom adorned with gypsum bas-reliefs inspired by the animal style of the Ural region. Dozens of forms were cast from our sketches based on ancient artefacts.

Custom wall panels transform functional surfaces into defining accents. Once the base is crafted, it can be painted, laminated, finished with fine wood veneers, or carved to create a sculptural relief.

Exclusive furniture pieces, mirrors, and even bathtubs are also produced to order.

Ethnic motifs
More and more clients request interiors built around ethnic influences. Such motifs reflect personal experiences and impressions to which one returns again and again. They bring vibrant colour, a sense of exoticism, and a warm atmosphere. Both restrained natural tones and bold, expressive palettes can be used, complemented by accent details and soft lighting.
Billionaires often collect unique pieces — from cars to original artefacts. In a New York apartment, for example, the client asked us to integrate his cherished items into the design: vases, tableware, and antique carpets.
We have noticed the highest demand for Eastern-inspired concepts: dark colour palettes, natural motifs, and distinctive organic forms. This approach is reflected in the design of a residence in Saudi Arabia and in the architectural project of a Moscow villa created in a Japanese aesthetic.
Projects with Eastern influences in the signature Studia 54 style immediately stand out: they are expressive, unique, and each one emphasises the owner’s status.

Lighting scenarios and spatial depth
The interplay of light and shadow is one of our signature techniques, especially striking in dark-toned interiors. We create layered lighting scenarios that adapt to different living patterns and shift the atmosphere throughout the day: soft diffused light in the morning, deep shadows and dramatic relief in the evening.
Dark interiors stand out for their depth and richness, bringing an elevated, sophisticated character to the space. This decision remains a favourite among many of our clients.
In a project in Vietnam, for example, the owner specifically envisioned a dark interior. We used contrasting materials, intricate lighting schemes, and a collection of art pieces and sculptural objects that transformed the space into a gallery-like environment.

Sophisticated finishes and craftsmanship — why they signal true status
In luxury interiors, craftsmanship becomes the ultimate marker of status, turning objects into exclusive works of art. This applies equally to wall panels and metal details — whether it is a bespoke chandelier, a brass mirror frame, or a galvanic pattern with a unique motif.

To highlight the depth of these textures and the complexity of the finish, we design thoughtful lighting scenarios that reveal their full beauty and artistic value.
For a design project in Indonesia, we created a floral light installation complemented by handcrafted ceramic ornaments integrated into the wall panel. It is a vivid example of artisanal work and the Eastern-inspired motifs we mentioned earlier.

A premium interior for a billionaire is an expression of both status and identity. This is why every project is built around the personality of the residence owner — their character, profession, passions, and lifestyle. Such an approach makes it possible to create truly unique solutions that exist in a single edition and cannot be replicated.
In this context, exclusivity becomes the benchmark of quality — a defining value that sets a billionaire’s residence apart. A personalized approach brings true luxury to life, a quality that is felt in every Studia 54 interior.
