Sky lounge for residents of Dubai
The 700 m² residents’ club is located on the 25th floor of a premium residential complex in Dubai, a city where private amenities within residential developments have become an essential part of elevated living.
The developers turned to Studia 54, having already been familiar with the studio's previous projects, and wanted to see the future interior in our style. This request became the starting point for a concept in which the studio's corporate approach to materials, light, and original art objects was reinterpreted through the cultural context of the Middle East. We have placed several zones on the floor area: lounges, meeting rooms, and 2 bar areas. More than 10 original art objects and decorative elements inspired by the culture of the region have been developed specifically for this project.

Our task was to create a commercially profitable project that would attract the potential audience of the customer's company. We have extensive experience with such tasks, so before starting work, we got to know our partner and his request closely. As a result, the Studia 54 team managed to create an iconic club interior of a new level with its own atmosphere and recognizable details.
Reception area: painted dome and fountain with herons
The reception area with a dome and a decorative pond, the hallmark of the apartment floors, became the compositional center of the interior.
The installation in the center of the hall is inspired by the image of a weeping willow. In Middle Eastern philosophy, this tree symbolizes wisdom, harmony, flexibility and the ability to maintain stability even under the influence of external circumstances. The smooth lines of the composition resemble falling branches, and the bronze hue emphasizes the noble character of the space.
The outside of the dome is decorated with hand-painted artwork inspired by the ornamental language of the region. Its motifs echo the outlines of desert dunes, Arabic calligraphy, and the complex geometry typical of Middle Eastern architecture. Inside, the same visual language continues through bespoke milling.

The dome forms an expressive visual center of the interior and becomes its main art object. In the evening, the installation turns into one of the main sources of the atmosphere of the space, its reflection in the pond enhances the visual depth.
Even being on the top floor of a modern residential complex, a person intuitively strives for contact with nature. Therefore, one of the most unusual elements of the project was the decorative pond in the center of the hall: it helps to create a more relaxed atmosphere.
Decorative sculptures of herons made in bronze are integrated into the composition of the reservoir. In Middle Eastern culture, these birds symbolize longevity, prosperity, wisdom, and the ability to make good decisions.

The reception desk is decorated with an accent silk panel. Its pattern is inspired by the shades of the desert at sunset, the soft transitions of sand, and the warm palette of the region.

Sofa groups
From the reception area, the space opens towards the soft groups that organize the main part of the lounge area.

Furniture from the brands Bonaldo, Flexform and Hessentia build a single interior scenario, combining the bar area, lounge and relaxation areas into a single composition. A ceiling installation from StudioTwentySeven gives the interior a chamber atmosphere and a special character. It forms an expressive visual accent and gently marks the boundaries of the space, enhancing its zoning.
The project also uses FiftyFourms brand furniture, created specifically for premium public interiors: one of the key elements is the Virgola sofa in a rich chocolate shade and Pianta armchairs in the same color.

Soft groups are distributed in such a way as to provide various scenarios for the use of space: from private negotiations to informal communication in a large company. Each zone retains a visual connection with the overall composition of the interior, while remaining sufficiently autonomous for comfortable communication.
The bar area
The bar area located in the center of the floor unites various functional spaces and becomes a place where the main routes of movement intersect. The bar is equally organic both during large events and in a more intimate format when the space is used for negotiations or informal communication.

The design solution of the bar is based on a combination of noble materials and soft diffused lighting. Behind the bar there is a large-scale decorative composition with illuminated niches, made of terracotta travertine according to the author's sketches of Studia 54.

Stairs to the apartments: the final accent of the route
An important compositional element of the floor is a spacious two-light space filled with natural light thanks to panoramic glazing around the perimeter. The height of the room made it possible to create an expressive interior with large-scale art objects, large decorative elements and complex multi-level lighting scenarios.

At the staircase leading to the apartment, guests are greeted by an installation with a frog. This image has already appeared in one of the previous Studia 54 projects and was so loved by customers that it received a new incarnation in this interior: here we interpreted it in a new way, adapting the shape, materials and overall image of the art object to the concept of the project.
The symbolism of color
The main accent shade of the interior is bronze. This color is traditionally associated with nobility, sustainability and respect for craft traditions. It is no coincidence that bronze shades are increasingly becoming part of premium interiors around the world today. They allow you to create expressive spaces in which luxury is revealed through the complexity of textures, the quality of materials and attention to detail.
Thanks to the complex work with lighting and textures, the bronze surfaces change throughout the day, acquiring either warm amber shades or deeper chocolate undertones, combining all areas of the floor with a single color logic.

Studia 54 especially appreciates commercial projects in which stylish design becomes a tool for creating an interior that works for business purposes.
The 700 m² project combines Middle Eastern imagery, modern technologies, and the tradition of hospitality for residents of a premium residential complex in Dubai. This interior will become a highlight of our portfolio and a point of attraction for residents, while its atmosphere will shape the first impression of the residential complex.
