Step inside the design
The client behind this project is the owner of a premium residential complex. His goal was to create a key point of attraction for future residents — a space that would not only elevate the lifestyle offering, but also serve as a powerful tool for attracting buyers. After reviewing our portfolio of residential and commercial interiors, the client was confident that the Studia 54 design approach would turn the spa into a strong investment asset. We always immerse ourselves in our clients’ goals and values, adapting each project to its business model. As the main reference, the client selected our interior project in Crystal Istra.
The 360 m² spa complex, designed in the recognizable Studia 54 style, embodies the philosophy of quiet luxury through a calm, warm palette and premium natural materials: noble veneers, salt stone, and a variety of tactile textures. For this project, we used more than seven types of finishing materials and integrated five unique art objects, including a large-scale lighting installation above the pool, stretching several meters in length.
Residents of the complex will enjoy unrestricted access to the spa, where they can fully immerse themselves in a state of serene harmony.
Pool
The pool is the central focal point of the entire spa complex. Surrounded by panoramic glazing on two sides, the space is filled with natural daylight.
Due to height differences, the client initially envisioned a ceiling skylight, but we proposed an alternative solution. At the heart of the composition, we placed a multi-level lightbox made of organic glass, symbolizing a dragon. This artistic installation not only acts as an additional light source, but also creates a dynamic play of reflections on the water’s surface.
A functional and aesthetic complement to the space is a screen composed of glass segments set within a metal frame. Integrated lighting adds a soft, warm glow while preserving the visual integrity of the interior.
Soft natural hues flow seamlessly into one another, while sunlit reflections, like an artist’s brush, paint an elegant play of light and shadow. Every element releases the mind from the rhythm of the city and evokes a sense of effortless serenity — exactly the atmosphere the client envisioned for their guests.
This spa complex is destined to become the residence’s signature space — a place one will want to return to again and again.
Sauna
The sauna maintains a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Finishes in natural wood with soft, warm tones are designed to promote deep relaxation, while illuminated salt stones fill the space with a gentle, restorative glow.
Rounded benches made of thermo-aspen enhance ergonomic comfort and give the interior smooth, flowing lines.
A panoramic window opens onto a picturesque view, allowing residents to enjoy the surrounding nature while unwinding. The space is designed to create ideal conditions for recovery after a demanding day.
The floor is finished with light, non-slip porcelain stoneware, ensuring safety while completing the cohesive, refined character of the interior.
Poolside bathroom
The bathroom maintains a light, serene color palette. Finishes combine warm natural wood with light porcelain stoneware — a durable material designed to withstand high humidity.
The central focal point is a washbasin by the Italian brand Antonio Lupi, crafted from the innovative eco-friendly material Crystalmood. This advanced resin is distinguished by its exceptional strength and refined translucency.
An art installation with petals made of semi-transparent organza adds a sense of lightness and air, enhancing the ethereal atmosphere of the space.
Gym
The gym spans 95 m² and is designed for strength, cardio, and functional training.
All sports equipment is stored in a veneered shelving system; however, its frame and shelves are made of metal to support heavy loads. The shelving has an asymmetrical composition, as a structural column is concealed on the left side.
Equipment includes:
- Exercise bike
- Two treadmills
- Elliptical trainer
- Chest strength machine
- Back and shoulder machine
- Multifunctional strength station
Our goal was to create an atmospheric space where residents can reconnect with themselves and restore inner balance. In this spa complex, functionality is seamlessly combined with aesthetics. Every interior element is conceived as a source of inspiration, guiding residents toward calm, relaxation, and renewal.
The Studia 54 team sought to design a place where time slows down and the boundary between interior and nature gently dissolves. We are confident that this spa complex will become a key point of attraction for residents and a strong asset for attracting buyers to the development.
