Our customer is a successful entrepreneur and an art connoisseur. He envisioned a private club within his own residence. It would be a place of energy and focus, designed for a close circle of friends, informal meetings, and themed evenings in an atmosphere of absolute privacy. The main challenge was the absence of natural light. We turned this limitation into a defining advantage of the project, designing sophisticated, multi-layered lighting scenarios.
The customer had been following Studia 54 on social media for a long time and wanted his vision brought to life in our recognizable style. During the initial briefing, the Studia 54 personal expert noted his affinity for futuristic motifs: bold color contrasts, a rich, saturated palette, and expressive compositional solutions. This led our team to draw inspiration from the aesthetics of the 1970s and 1980s.
The 850 m² Hong Kong project became a striking finale to 2025 — bold, on-trend, magnetic, and at the same time deeply comfortable.
Living room interior
For this design project, we selected a complex, layered color palette: deep dark tones, rich cognac, brick, and olive. Bold colors create a sense of celebration for guests — a defining feature of the era the customer is especially fond of.
The core idea was to create several focal points, allowing the space to adapt naturally to different social scenarios. Every detail draws attention: Minotti armchairs with sculptural silhouettes, ring-shaped alabaster lamps by the French brand Alain Ellouz, and an abstract ceiling mural resembling splashes of ink.

The visual centerpiece of the living room is a futuristic metal bio-fireplace enclosed within a monolithic stone form. On either side, tall light sculptures act as vertical accents, placed within a leather-clad niche.

The interior is built on contrast: cool, light-reflecting marble paired with the warmth of wood veneer. The recognizable Studia 54 style reveals itself through meticulous detailing — creating a space where the eye moves seamlessly from one design element to the next.

Bar area
The second dominant element of the space is the bar area, combining a refined lounge atmosphere with a fully professional workspace for a bartender.
The bar feels truly luxurious thanks to its noble palette and natural materials: a wall clad in a dramatic onyx slab and a bar island in a deep cognac tone with a flawless high-gloss finish. References to the polished surfaces of the 1970s–80s add a subtle retro-futuristic accent to the interior.
The key compositional element is a custom lighting installation. A metal structure is integrated into a ceiling niche, from which an amber-toned drapery cascades downward like a blazing sun. Playing with light, form, and texture, our designers transformed the bar into a true work of art.

Formal dining room
This space is built on a dialogue between Eastern philosophy and contemporary design, where traditional motifs are reinterpreted through a modern lens and adapted to the local context.
At the entrance, attention is drawn to a bespoke installation designed by our team. In addition to general illumination, the chandelier creates accent lighting: LEDs are integrated into the edges of the pendants. The glass form resembles metallic splashes frozen in time, while the multi-layered lighting scenario produces mesmerizing caustic reflections that captivate every guest.

Olive chairs by Baxter
We designed a round table for 15 guests with a seamless rotating center panel. Inspired by traditional Chinese banquet culture, this element symbolizes unity and hospitality. The mechanism is concealed within a monolithic base, preserving the purity of the form. This solution allows each guest to sample different dishes without interrupting conversation or disrupting the table setting. For the client, it was essential that every guest feel equally comfortable during formal dinners.
The metal narrative continues through illuminated textile sculptures created from our original sketches. In contrast, we introduced bronze backlit panels, between which an abstract fresco unfolds — adding depth, rhythm, and a final artistic layer to the composition.

The wall itself becomes a statement piece in the dining room. Here, we applied a complex technique that transforms the surface into a tactile art panel — an inlay of patterned veneer in two distinct tones.

The customer ultimately received an ideal “place of power”: a fully private environment where a festive yet intimate atmosphere prevails, and every evening feels like a special occasion.
This 850 m² design project was developed over several months by a team of 70 specialists. It stands as proof that with a comprehensive, thoughtful approach, even the most demanding challenge — including the complete absence of natural light — can become the foundation for an impeccable result, where a customer’s personal vision is brought to life.
