Our customers have lived in the dynamic urban rhythm of Tashkent for a long time and dreamed of a house that would be the complete opposite of the bustling environment of the metropolis. It was important for the family to maintain a sense of status and modern architectural expressiveness, but at the same time create a space where silence, privacy and proximity to nature would be the main scenario of life.
The site among the tall pines in Uzbekistan immediately determined the character of the future architecture. The main reference of the customer was our project in Italy. Our team was tasked with integrating the modern mansion into the natural landscape and architectural code of the village so that the house was perceived as an extension of the environment.
The Luce e Ombra family Residence, whose name means "light and shadow" in Italian, is a modern 740 m² house with expressive architectural geometry, large cantilevered roof extensions, an integrated spa area and panoramic glazing that blurs the boundary between architecture and garden.

Privacy and Status Architecture
The entrance to the residence passes through a calm natural landscape with pine trees, implemented with stone step-by-step paving of paths and laconic landscaping. Already at the entrance stage, the architecture gradually reveals itself to the owners and their guests, creating a sense of a measured transition from the outside world to the private space of the house.

The main facade is built on a contrast of materials and colors. The graphic dark ground floor with vertical slats creates a sense of security, while the upper floor with large glazing and light porcelain stoneware panels adds lightness and modern elegance to the architecture.
The light facade of the second floor visually facilitates the architecture, while the dark base creates a sense of monumentality and privacy. The warm integrated lighting emphasizes the purity of the lines and creates a soft atmosphere at home in the evening.

Our team paid special attention to working with light. Linear lighting is integrated into the architecture as delicately as possible: it emphasizes the horizontal lines of the roof, cantilever elements and plastic facades, creating the effect of a soft glow of the house in the evening forest.
The landscape concept continues the architectural rhythm of the residence. The geometry of the paths, large-format stone, low shrubs and natural compositions support the minimalistic nature of the project and help preserve the feeling of the natural environment around the house.
We have created walking routes integrated into the architecture of the site so that each view point of the residence reveals new views of the house and the surrounding landscape. The natural environment here becomes a full-fledged part of the architectural scenario of life.

Thoughtful layout
The planning structure of the residence was developed based on the lifestyle of a family, where it is important to combine privacy, the comfort of everyday life and the opportunity to receive guests in the atmosphere of a modern country residence.
Thanks to the panoramic glazing and the double-light space of the public area, the interior is perceived as open and filled with natural light as possible.
Ground floor: a space for communication and relaxation
The main floor of the house is completely devoted to the scenarios of family life for the reception of guests.
The entrance group is designed in the format of an open front space with a canopy and architectural planters with landscaping, which emphasize the status character of the residence from the very first steps.
The living room and dining room are combined into a single two-light space with panoramic Windows and views of the plot. A through fireplace running through two floors has become a key architectural accent of the interior and an important element of space zoning.
Special attention was paid to the owner's office. The space is oriented towards the plot and includes a work area, storage systems and a private exit to the terrace through sliding glazing. This solution allows you to maintain a balance between working scenarios and the atmosphere of suburban life.
The SPA area is integrated into the architecture of the ground floor as delicately as possible. The pool area is organized in such a way as to ensure free movement around the bowl and convenient access to the sauna, hammam and shower rooms. Thanks to the panoramic glazing, the recreation area retains a visual connection with the garden and the natural surroundings.

Second floor: private family space
The second floor is entirely dedicated to the family unit and is organized as the most private part of the residence.
There are three bedrooms and a shared family living room with views of the two-light space on the first level. This solution creates a visual connection between the floors and allows sunlight to enter the house from this side of the plot.
The owners' master unit is located closest to the stairwell and is designed as an autonomous private space. The unit includes a spacious dressing room, a master bathroom and a relaxation area with panoramic Windows offering views of the site and the pine landscape.
The children's bedrooms were deliberately separated into different parts of the second floor in order to provide each child with a sense of their own personal space.
The shared family living room on the second floor has become an important part of the house — a place where the family can spend time together in a more private and relaxed atmosphere, while maintaining a visual connection to the main public space of the residence.
The role of open spaces in the natural scenario of the site
One of the key elements of the project is the spacious covered terraces, which form a smooth transition between the interior and the natural surroundings.
Deep roof extensions create comfortable shade areas and protect spaces from the active sun, while preserving the opportunity to enjoy nature at any time of the day. Thanks to panoramic glazing, the boundaries between the interior and exterior practically disappear.
Terraces have become a continuation of the daily scenario of family life. Here you can have family breakfasts, relax after a day at work, or greet guests in an atmosphere of peace and privacy.

Technical solutions
Despite the visual lightness of the architecture, the project includes a large number of complex technical solutions.
The cantilevered roof extensions were designed in such a way as to preserve the subtlety of the architectural lines and at the same time ensure the reliability of the structures. The engineering systems are integrated as delicately as possible, so that the architecture retains a minimalistic character.
Special attention is paid to facade materials and lighting. The combination of light panels, dark metal elements and hidden linear illumination allows the architecture to look expressive at any time of the day.
Separate functional relocation scenarios were provided for the technical rooms and engineering areas to preserve the privacy of the main living spaces. All service solutions are integrated into the architecture in such a way that they do not disrupt the visual purity of the project.

The Studia 54 team designed this 740 m² house as a modern family residence where architecture becomes part of the owners' lifestyle. In each project, we strive to create a space that will be relevant years later and will be able to reflect your personality through architecture, materials and the atmosphere of the house.
