516м²

We have completed a 516 m² interior design project in Jumeirah 1, one of Dubai’s most prestigious districts overlooking the Persian Gulf. This residence was created for one of the most exclusive $6M villas in La Mer.

Our client is a successful entrepreneur with an extensive international network — a person for whom status and reputation are fundamental. His residence had to function as a personal signature: a space that reflects his achievements, taste, and identity. One requirement was non-negotiable: absolute exclusivity. No standard solutions — only bespoke design, premium furniture, and a curated selection of art pieces created exclusively for his family.

The concept is built around the collision of two natural forces interpreted through abstract artistic elements — water and molten lava. These accents shape the space emotionally and narratively. The project includes more than 50 custom art objects and light installations designed entirely from scratch. For the finishes, we selected rare natural stone and 4 types of premium wood veneer.

Dining area

The client’s key request was to create a space worthy of formal receptions. The residence will regularly host high-profile dinners with international guests, so the dining hall needed to impress and unmistakably reflect the owner’s status.

As the main reference, the client chose our very first international project in Morocco — a milestone for Studia 54 and a symbol of our signature style.

In this residence, the dining room was designed specifically for special occasions: gala dinners and formal receptions. To set a truly memorable festive mood, we created a bespoke light installation. At its center lies a sculptural composition of magnolia petals crafted from textile and crystal on a metal frame.

A luxurious marble table comfortably seats 12–14 guests, while deep terracotta dining chairs introduce a striking accent into the palette.

The atmosphere is completed by a hand-painted fresco depicting a sunset sky. Positioned above the bar area, it brings a sense of airiness and refined romanticism to the interior.

Tropical art installation

One of the client’s key wishes was to create a large-scale art object that would become the focal point during formal dinners — a sculptural centerpiece visible both from the dining area and the second-floor balcony.

We designed a unique composition inside a grand aquarium: dried amaranth cascading from two metallic vessels. This artistic concept created by our designers symbolizes beauty suspended in time.

At first glance, the installation unfolds like a mythical firebird with outstretched wings. The way light plays across the metal and botanical elements adds movement and turns the sculpture into a living work of art. Whether viewed from the dinner table or from above, it reveals new details with every look — a piece meant to be admired endlessly.

Living room

The residence includes three living rooms: a family lounge, a reception area, and a formal entertaining space.

The entrance to the family living room is framed by a marble portal that sets the tone for the entire interior. Behind the sofa stands a decorative screen on a metal frame with crystal elements reminiscent of faceted rubies. The screen is movable, allowing the space to be reconfigured depending on the event or mood — in other words, adapted to different living scenarios.

The accent tables by Grzegorz Majka are crafted from metal and natural stone forming a richly textured composition — marble and quartzite. The ensemble is complemented by a patterned ottoman from Arterios, adding a dynamic touch.

The TV wall is finished in tinted veneer, flanked by deep niches carved from green marble. Brass shelves and partitions with integrated lighting highlight the sophistication of the material.

The final unifying element is a conical chandelier made of glass cylinders, designed according to our sketches. It creates a complex optical effect: the light projected onto the plaster finish resembles ripples on the surface of water. This “ripple” effect transforms the ceiling into a living, ever-changing installation.

Bar area

At the client’s request, the bar area became an independent art piece. To bring this concept to life, we created a kitchen island crafted from noble onyx, where the backlit countertop plays the leading role. Its distinctive geometric shape, with soft rounded edges and inner illumination, transforms the surface into a glowing monolith.

Suspended above the island is a chandelier composed of matte quartzite slabs. The layered structure of the natural stone evokes the image of a heavy storm cloud captured at the peak of tension.

The composition is completed with chairs by FiftyFourms, whose ergonomic silhouettes and premium materials enhance the refined aesthetic of the space.

Bathroom

This bathroom became a meeting point of two elements: flowing water and solidified lava. Their collision is expressed through natural materials and forms the culmination of our design narrative.

At the center of the composition is a monolithic countertop made from a rare, rich amber-toned onyx, crafted as a bespoke piece. The integrated lighting illuminates the stone from within, creating the effect of smoldering magma.

The porcelain tile flooring, detailed with a marble-inspired pattern, contrasts with the wall clad in veneer.

The space is completed by a mirror set in a substantial metal frame finished with a pearlescent enamel in a cool turquoise tone. It resembles a precious mineral, emerald or aquamarine, adding a luxurious chromatic accent to the palette.

Chandelier Serip

The villa in Dubai proves that true luxury is not defined by price, but by the ability to listen to the client, the courage to transform space, and the artistry of filling it with meaning.

Through dedicated, meticulous work, the interior became a precise reflection of the owner’s status — striking, distinctive, and deeply personalized. The synergy throughout the design process was so valuable that the client chose to continue our collaboration. Our team is now developing the design for his next 1,000 m² villa in another country.

In the 516 m² La Mer residence, we brought to life every signature element of Studia 54: refined detailing, bespoke design solutions, adaptability to lifestyle scenarios, premium materials and furniture brands, and sophisticated compositional and chromatic accents.
