Prairies style house in the Moscow region
In the design, we were faced the task of carefully integrating the house into the surrounding landscape, that’s why the location of literally every tree was taken into account. Several magnificent trees pass through the terrace, and one of the pines becomes almost a part of the house itself, passing through the porch of the front door and the balcony. A reverent attitude to nature and the search for harmony with the outside world - this is the approach that underlies organic architecture. “House as a continuation of the landscape” is the philosophy that we adhere designing absolutely unique houses in our own stylistic.
Unity with nature is emphasized by the predominance of natural materials in home decoration. Danish hand-molded bricks and natural larch will delight their owners for many years and will never become obsolete. The strength of the stone and the warmth of wood create an atmosphere of comfort and security. The cottage is focused on maximum contact with nature. The border between the space of rooms and the outside world is erased by panoramic glazing. Thanks to this, the forest landscape becomes part of the interior, and the house is filled with calm sunlight. Thanks to modern energy-efficient technologies, a comfortable temperature is always maintained inside the house. And open terraces located around perimeter of the house allow you to spend more time outdoors.
The basis of the layout of the house is competent functional zoning. On the ground floor in the technical area there are a garage for two cars, a technical room, a laundry room with space for built-in storage, a hall and a staff room with its own bathroom. The hall area contains a wardrobe, a bathroom and a small pantry. From the luxurious staircase hall with installation, you can get into the spacious living room with a second light. In the same area there is a master kitchen with a dining room, however, the main cooking process takes place in a closed technical kitchen, so that the smells of cooking do not interfere with entertaining. Also on the ground floor is the office of the owner of the house. Special attention should be paid to the spacious lounge area.
Thanks to the landing of the house on the lie of the ground, the ceiling here is higher than in other rooms, which, combined with panoramic glazing, gives a feeling of a special airiness of space. A luxurious fireplace, a soft zone with a large sofa and a piano (a long-time dream of the mistress of the house) is a “living room for special occasions”, which will delight its owners for many years. On the second floor there is a master bedroom unit with a spacious bathroom and a large dressing room, an open terrace, as well as two more bedrooms with their own bathrooms.
Despite of the organic architecture and traditional finishing materials, the house meets all modern trends. Energy-efficient panoramic glazing is warm and safe, and all engineering systems, water supply and ventilation systems, multimedia systems, landscape and facade lighting, as well as security are combined into a single “smart home” system, making managing a suburban residence simple and convenient.
