Studia 54 was founded in 2016 by Stanislav Klyuev and Olga Ivanova. From the very beginning, they set an ambitious goal: to enter the international market and become a leading force in Russia. Today, we are proud to share the journey our team has taken — and why more than two million people around the world follow our work.
Our signature interior design style
Our story began with commercial projects: apart hotels, five-star hotels, offices and compact residential spaces. At that time, our team experimented a lot and adapted to various trends: exposed brick walls, decorative accents, and the Pantone color palette.
If you look back at 2017, the popular shades were primrose yellow, rose quartz, denim blue, lapis, olive-khaki greens, teal, fresh spring green, beige, red-orange and raspberry. As you can see, these tones are far from what defines Studia 54 today. We could use them as accents, but never as the foundation of a concept.

Each new project brought us closer to defining our own style. One day, a client came to us with an unconventional request: to create an interior with the atmosphere of a luxurious five-star hotel while preserving the warmth and intimacy of a private residence.
This challenge pushed us to search for new solutions. For months, our team worked relentlessly, developing hundreds of layout sketches. We stepped away from ready-made lighting and, for the first time, designed our own sculptural installations that became the focal points of the interior. In the end, we fulfilled every wish and captured the client’s lifestyle and status through design.
That project became a turning point for us: it marked the birth of the unique Studia 54 design code — the very aesthetic that millions now recognize around the world.
And it was 2017 that became the true beginning of our signature interior style. By the way, we have a particular love for a darker palette — and recently shared why it’s trending and how to work with it effectively in this article.

We refined our craft through details, driven by a single goal — to create harmonious spaces. From the very beginning, our mission was to unite the warmth of a private home with the atmosphere of a luxurious five-star resort. A place where the residents could truly unwind every day, as if they were on an exclusive holiday.
It seems we anticipated the future: today clients come to us specifically asking for interiors with the ambience of a premium hotel. Our portfolio now includes hundreds of projects by the sea, homes with indoor and outdoor pools, full-scale spa complexes, and expansive terraces.

A Studia 54 design project delivers the atmosphere of a flagship hotel — meticulously crafted and tailored entirely to your family.
The Studia 54 aesthetic became recognizable through its precision, harmonious palettes, and sophisticated compositional accents that reveal the geometry of space. Each project is created from scratch, with our team immersing themselves in the client’s lifestyle — how they imagine their ideal home, what they do, what they enjoy, and what they dream about.
Complete personalization lies at the core of our approach, and it is what allows us to create interiors that feel truly one of a kind. Studia 54 projects often become sources of inspiration — the kind of spaces people want to photograph, share, and return to.
First international project
Two years after Studia 54 was founded, in 2018, we achieved our initial goal. Our first international project was completed in Morocco.

The team immersed itself in the local culture and studied the nuances of southern residential architecture. The project stood out for its regal scale and distinctive artistic accents. For our clients, it was essential that the residence feel luxurious yet free from excessive opulence. Since then, the idea of quiet luxury has become a defining motif in our work, and a trend in the premium segment.
At that time, we couldn’t yet imagine how far our geography would expand. Today, our portfolio includes projects in more than 30 countries — and we have no plans to stop.
Creating an architecural style
A year later, in 2019, the signature Studia 54 architectural style was born. We continued to experiment, study different cultural codes, and search for an approach that would resonate with both us and our clients.
In 2019, the owner of a large forested site approached us with an unusual request: to design a residence without disturbing the existing trees or the northern landscape. It was a technically complex challenge — preserving a mature forest while constructing a large-scale building seemed almost impossible.
Our team developed structural solutions that allowed the residence to be integrated into the terrain without harming the natural environment. This was the moment when the foundations of our architectural language were formed: we began working with elongated volumes and horizontal proportions. This approach created a sense of unity with nature.

To achieve complete harmony, we chose materials and color palettes inspired by the surrounding landscape.

To create a true sense of openness, we design double-height spaces — a feature that has become a favorite among our clients. In many of our projects, ceiling heights reach 7–9 meters.
Over the past decade, working with complex architectural, structural, and engineering challenges, we have grown into international-level experts in the premium segment. Our portfolio includes residences of more than 10,000 sq.m and private estates spanning up to 8 hectares.

Developing a furniture collection for an Italian factory
In 2019, the Italian furniture manufacturer Medea invited us to create a limited collection in the signature Studia 54 style. For us, it was an opportunity to bring long-standing ideas in furniture design to life — and a new creative challenge we gladly embraced.
Around this time, an Italian technologist with many years of experience joined the Studia 54 team. After investing in advanced equipment, we were able to combine Italian manufacturing techniques with our distinctive design vision.
The result was our first furniture collection, LifeStyle, created for the Italian market. This collaboration became a pivotal milestone for us — one that inspired the idea of building our own manufacturing facilities.

Opening our own manufacture and creating a furniture brand
In 2021, we moved from ideas to action and opened our own 1,500 sq m manufacturing facility. This decision was shaped not only by our international collaborations, but also by the needs of our clients.
Between concept and final installation, projects used to rely on contractors, long lead times, and unpredictable variables. We wanted full control — to speed up the process, ensure impeccable quality, and guarantee timely delivery. Today, we equip our projects ourselves, oversee construction, and produce custom solutions entirely in-house.
Our premium furniture brand — FiftyFourms
The experience of creating a furniture collection never let us go, and soon we decided to establish our own brand — FiftyFourms.
We treat every furniture piece as a work of art. Inspiration comes from everywhere, helping us create new designs with a unique story behind each one. Every item goes through a thoughtful, meticulous creative process.
The symbol of FiftyFourms became the Blossom coffee table — a sculptural piece inspired by water lilies. It was originally created as a special commission for an Eastern prince preparing to propose to his beloved. Blossom was born from a story of pure love and the lotus flower she received on the day they met.
This piece later became the logo of our brand, inspiring us to design objects filled with meaning, memory, and emotion.

We treat our clients with exceptional care, which is why every seam and stitch at our manufacture is inspected by hand. Over the years, our furniture-making process has been refined to perfection.

Last year, we made our debut at the ArtDom exhibition, where we presented a new furniture collection to influential designers and prominent entrepreneurs. Now we are actively preparing for the upcoming exhibition season in February.

Growth that expands every year
Today, our portfolio includes more than 650 projects across 32 countries. Our team continues to grow and now numbers over 200 specialists. Each project is shaped by experts in their fields: engineers, constructors, architects, designers, draftsmen, visualizers, 3D modelers, BIM specialists, and project managers.
Every client works with a dedicated Studia 54 expert — a trusted partner throughout the entire process. They delve into the client’s lifestyle, habits, hobbies, dreams, and personal preferences. This deep understanding allows our team to create a space exactly as its future owner envisions it.
We believe the secret to an exceptional home lies in a comprehensive approach. That is why we continue to evolve and expand, taking full control of every stage of implementation. Our process covers the entire cycle: architectural design, interior and landscape design, construction, and furnishing. Over 10 years, we have built a seamless workflow that allows us to guarantee quality and timely execution.
And ahead of us lies a long list of new ambitions — goals we will share very soon. What remains constant is our belief that even the boldest dreams can be brought to life.
