When buying a property, a man often looks at the interior as a long-term investment. For him, the quality of operation, the reputation of the design bureau, an understandable process and, in some cases, the liquidity of the facility are important. Therefore, in Studia 54, each customer has a personal expert, a built-in project management system and the possibility of turnkey implementation. This helps you keep control over deadlines, decisions, and the final outcome.
The apartment requires particularly precise work. Unlike the villa, there is less space for individual blocks, large terraces and special rooms. Therefore, the men's interior in the apartment is assembled through a competent layout: each solution should support the lifestyle of the owner and at the same time look whole.

Function VS Beauty
Men often start a conversation about interior design with scripts. It is important for them to immediately understand where the work area will be, where you can meet friends, where to store the collection, where to exercise and where to recover after a day.
Aesthetics comes next. When the function is thought out precisely, the interior becomes beautiful due to logic. A comfortable fit, the right light, high-quality materials and clear routes give a feeling of confident, collected space.
Honesty of decisions is especially appreciated in men's interiors. Random decorative accents are rarely needed here. It is much more important that each item has its own role and looks appropriate in the owner's life.

The layout of the men's apartment
There are usually three main scenarios in an apartment for a single man: work, socializing, and private recreation. They can be assembled in separate rooms or within one large space if the area is limited.
The living room becomes a meeting place. Here a man receives friends, watches sports, cooks, keeps collectible wine and art objects. Therefore, furniture is selected primarily based on the fit, scale and convenience of a long evening.

The private area often gets additional functions. There may be a place in the bedroom for reading, meditation, yoga, or a small work scenario. In a penthouse in the center of Moscow, we have provided a yoga room inside a private block. It is a space with soft light where the owner can switch and recover.

Brands for men's interiors
In a men's apartment, a furniture brand is often associated with trust in quality, fit, and long service life. For many customers, this is a rational choice: they know the manufacturers, compare materials, pay attention to the design, comfort and how the object will behave in daily life.
In the project of an apartment in Estonia, this part of the work was carried out in dialogue with the owner. The customer turned out to be a keen connoisseur of furniture and brands, so the selection for the living room became a general setting of the scenario: it should be convenient to relax after work, watch movies, receive friends and spend long evenings in a chamber company.

The centerpiece of the living room is the emerald Minotti corner sofa. It gives the space the right scale and immediately meets the main scenario of a bachelor apartment: the owner can settle down alone, gather guests or spend the evening talking. Eichholtz Amsterdam coffee tables with antique brass trim add composure to the living room and maintain a more stately character of the space.
The Studia 54 author's chandelier with crystal butterflies became the individual accent of the project. This is how recognizable brands, the taste of the owner and the studio's original work combined in the interior. For a man's apartment, this is an important logic: objects are selected according to the scenario of life, and then assembled into a complete composition.

The color scheme
The classic men's palette is often based on deep and calm shades. Gray gives a neutral base, blue adds depth, graphite makes the interior more collected, brown brings warmth. This range looks confident and goes well with natural materials.

At the same time, the men's interior can be bolder. In the apartment in Estonia, we used a calm beige base and added orange and green accents to it. In words, the combination seems bright, in the interior it gave a balance: the base remained warm, the accents added energy.

A successful palette is based on proportion. The main background holds the space, the deeper color sets the character, and the accent adds life. In the men's interior, combinations of warm beige with graphite and olive, gray-blue with walnut and brass, dark chocolate with stone and a muted terracotta shade are well revealed. Due to these combinations, the apartment looks expressive, while maintaining a sense of wholeness.
Materials in the men's interior
Our experience shows that men often choose materials through the prism of quality, resource, and how the interior will look in years to come. At first glance, men's spaces may seem ascetic, restrained, and almost austere; behind this outward simplicity, there is usually a very rational approach. The customer looks at stone, wood, leather or metal from the perspective of durability, tactility and beautiful aging, so savings give way to reliability and the feeling of real material.
Men's interiors often tend towards materials with a natural texture. Wood, stone, metal, and leather give the space a character that unfolds over time. Such materials age beautifully and make the interior deeper.
In the apartment in Baku, we used wood in the decoration of the floor, walls and ceiling. It gathered the space into a warm, integral composition. Over the years, this texture looks even richer, because the material gets its own story.

Leather is especially well suited for men's interiors. Over time, it becomes softer, darkens, and acquires a patina. There is a sense of honest material that lives with the owner.
Spaces for men's interests
Men's interiors often feature rooms or areas associated with personal interests. It can be an office, a sports area, a wine room, a bar or a place for a collection.
We have provided a small study in the bedroom on the coast of Oman. This is part of a private space: a table by the window, shelves for books and a light for work. The owner can start the day calmly, without moving to a separate business area.

In Kazakhstan, we have designed a full-fledged sports area in an apartment. Mirrors, ventilation, lighting and sufficient space for movement are important here.

In an apartment in Spain, the bar area has become the center of the living room. It's a place for drinks, socializing, and showcasing the collection. The lighting, shelves and seating around the bar make it the highlight of the evening.

National symbols
Sometimes the men's interior starts with the personal culture of the owner. In the apartment in Baku, the customer immediately said that he wanted to see the symbols of his country at home. This was the starting point of the project.
National motifs appeared in carpet, ceramics, art and individual details. They shaped the palette, textures and emotional character of the interior. The space turned out to be connected with both the lifestyle and the personal history of the owner.

A high-level men's interior begins with the personality of the owner and his attitude to the house. A bachelor often gathers an apartment around work, friends, and personal hobbies. A family man is looking for a balance between privacy, common scenarios and the long-term value of the object. In both cases, the interior should correspond to the customer's real life, and not to the abstract image of a "masculine style".
The task of Studia 54 is to translate this scenario into an accurate design system. We take into account how the owner evaluates materials, furniture brands, appliances, terms of sale and quality of operation. Therefore, the men's interior turns out to be restrained in form, strong in content and designed for years: with a thoughtful layout, reliable solutions and a sense of space where the customer is really comfortable being himself.
